Having recently acquired NULON Products Australia (NPA), FUCHS tasked DXC Technology’s Practice for SAP to help it absorb NPA’s core manufacturing and back-office processes within its existing operations and to do it without impacting the integrity of the NPA brand. NPA’s operations had to be incorporated within FLA’s existing SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to create post-acquisition synergies.
“To enable that, we also optimised NPA’s supply chain operations by transitioning the storage of NPA finished goods from a third-party logistics (3PL) managed distribution centre in Erskine Park, New South Wales, to a 3PL warehouse in Derrimut Victoria. This helped us minimise transportation costs and optimise material handling processes.”
